<p>Prince Gong&#8217;s Mansion is known as one of the most ornate and extravagant residence compounds in all of Beijing. The stone lions at the entrances are much larger than the average ones you see in a normal siheyuan.</p>
<p>The one in the picture is the male lion guards the right side of the entrance. According to Chinese Fengshui, the female lion should sit on the left while the male lion should sit on the right. </p>
